Items Needed
The Backpack Program for Children is a partnership between Christoval Baptist Church and Christoval Elementary School. In 2009 Georgia Fischer saw a need to disribute non-perishable food items to children in the community that might need a little extra to fill their tummies on weekends and school holidays. Every Friday, during the school year, she delivers bags of food to the children in the program, along with hugs and a kind word. The children look forward to both the bags and hugs from Ms. Georgia!
Volunteers sign up at the church each week to pack bags prior to delivery on Friday. There is always a need for volunteers to pack, as well as donations of food items. If you would like to be involved in this ministry, please contact us. It is a blessing to all involved!

October: Vienna Sausage
November: Pudding Cups
December: Beanie weenies/ Frank & Beans
January: Granola Bars
February: Juice Boxes
March: Fruit Cups
April: Peanut Butter Crackers
May: Applesuce
Donations are not requested during the summer months, but always welcome.
